Bill Gates gets 4 million spams a day

If you thought that the miserly dozen or so unsolicited emails that show up in your inbox is a lot, think again, because the richest man in the world gets 4 million spam emails a day.

According to WebOptimiser, Bill Gates is the most spammed person in the world:

"Mr Ballmer told a Microsoft event in Singapore that Mr Gates gives out his email address whenever he makes a speech and only around ten emails a day are put through to his inbox after the four million pieces of email he receives a day have been filtered."

Although this would ordinarily be a place for me to put a nasty joke about a nerd not having friends who would send him emails, I won't. Because I just recently learnt that Bill and his wife Melinda gave away $29 billion to charity in only 4 years. (in case you're wondering, that's 29 000 000 000,00 dollars US)
