Exposing a Phishing Attack
Filed in archive Phishing by Sue Walsh on January 20, 2008
Here's a video from LiveSecurity exposing a phishing attack directed at US Bank. It explains all the techniques phishers use and how to spot them, and actually examines a malicious website designed to steal personal info. It's a great learning too for some of your more computer illiterate users. Once you see the techniques used and how to spot it, it seems like such an obvious fake, but hundreds of people fall for them anyway.
