Flickr spam – and a virus too

Cameron Marlow of Overstated warns about Flickr related spams. He recieved an e-mail asking about his photo published on Flickr. The link provided took him to a website which has nothing to do with Flickr, although it looks much the same.
Only later he found out it was in fact much worse than someone trying to boost their Flickr views, it was a phishing scam devised to steal passwords and logins, install viruses and make your life a living hell.
If a user clicks on the link and visits the page, code linked in an iframe attempts to exploit browser vulnerabilities to install trojan software on the user's system.
Don't click on links in e-mails if they look even remotely suspicious. How could a person know your E-mail address if it's not linked to your Flickr account? Be wise and stay alert.
