(ISC)2 eSymposium: Your Email Inbox: Gateway to Danger
Filed in archive Announcements by Dameon Welch-Abemathy on December 20, 2007

, I am obligated to keep myself educated on information security issues. In order to provide more educational opportunities to it's credential holders, (ISC)2, maintainers of the CISSP credential, have begun providing eSymposiums to CISSP credential holders free of charge. The next eSymposium they are offering is relevant to this blog: specifically on e-mail security, which would include the nasty stuff we get as spam.
Mark your calendars for the next (ISC)2 e-Symposium scheduled for January 22, 2008 at 9:00 am EST, 2:00 pm GMT/UTC on:
"Your Email Inbox: Gateway to Danger"
Other than face-to-face or by phone, most communications are conducted by email in the business environment. However, email messages bring with it a special set of problems and threats. Join (ISC)2 and our sponsor, MessageLabs, as we examine e-mail security, including some of the latest statistics and findings on web and email threats, best practices and a case study. Stay tuned for more details that will be available in early January.
To find out more about CISSPs, the benefits of becoming one, and the requirements for obtaining this credential, refer to the (ISC)2 website for more information.
