Japanese Spammer Accused of Sending Over 2 Million Spams

ComputerWeekly is reporting that a man in Tokyo, Japan has been arrested for allegedly sending over 2 million spam messages. Authorities say he bought 600,000 email addresses for about $900US and made over $17,000 in profit by sending spam promoting gambling and dating sites. He was caught after an ISP complained to police.
When just one person can send over 2 million spams, you can see just how bad the spam issue is these days!

2 million a day? That seems like a low number to me, particularly if you get several computers going at it.
