Botnets have become more and more of a concern lately, thanks to the Storm Worm. Storm is believed to have created the net's largest botnet, with somewhere between 5-10 million computers turned into zombies. The users of the affected systems likely have no idea they are members of this not so exclusive club. Botnets can be used to send spam, launch DDoS attacks, and more. Here are series of great videos from Live Security examining the inner workings of a botnet, how they are built, what they can do, and how to protect your users from them.
