Report junk mail
The Redmond guys are taking spam more seriously than ever. Microsoft has recently issued a widget for its Outlook e-mail client which lets you report junk mail as it comes, leaving it to Microsoft to deal with the data it delivers. Softpedia writes:
"The Junk E-mail Reporting Tool enables Outlook users to report junk emails directly to Microsoft. The Redmond Company and the affiliated companies will thereafter analyze the user submissions. Microsoft promised that the process will lead to the updating of the company's junk email filtering technologies."
I'm all for it even though I do not use Microsoft software.
