Spam Filters-Desktop or Server Based?
Filed in archive Anti-Spam Tools by Sue Walsh on December 9, 2007
Here is an interesting video that discusses spam fighting software and whether it's more effective when run via the desktop or server side at ISP's. It's a great roundtable discussion the looks at the pros and cons of both types of Spam filtering. One thing that is easily agreed on is that everyone, companies and consumers alike, need spam fighting tools. Whether they should be run on the end users desktop or as a server side solution by ISP's is the subject of this great video!
