Spam sites promoted by hacking
While the fairly innocent Zack questions his ways for promoting his new website by writing (original) content and adding his articles to Digg, Del.icio.us and other aggregators and bookmarkers, some not so very nice people promote their spam websiteslinks on legit government pages, according to New Search:
"...if you want to make some quick cash instead, it's much better to remain undetected. This hacker was able to do just that and not simply to some obscure, user editable page of a rarely visited site, but to many pages of a major U.S. University, including its department homepage, a U.S. government website, and at least two other important organizations. He has remained undetected for at least two weeks (likely much longer) until now. "
New Search also lists several of those sites, with sites which are linked to it. I am asking the webmasters whose sites were hacked: don't you pay attention to what is happening on your websites? And furthermore, what kind of crappy code did you write anyhows?
