When Silence Isn't Golden
Ryan Naraine: The software maker admits to withholding details on security vulnerabilities to protect customers from bad guys, but critics say that policy increases the risk for everyone.

Randy: I don't know. Anybody who believes that full disclosure of existing vulnerabilities in Windows or Internet Explorer will help, can only be a Microsoft basher. That is, it doesn't matter what Microsoft does, they will bash. My advice? Ignore them.
