Today, I stumbled upon a at I got Spam?!
Today, I stumbled upon a new aggregator called Informatory. I'm unsure what exactly it is or intends to do, but I was really pleased with the way this aggregator goes about aggregating blog entries and linking back to the source. Things to note... Every entry links to both the blog entry and blog homepage. That's especially nice. No NOFOLLOW on the links, giving the original authors some Google juice. Every entry [...] Read More
I got snow in my mail today at I got Spam?!
I received a spam e-mail today, and it was snowing. No, really, the image was an animated .gif, which looked just like that cheesy Outlook template everyone insists on using round Christmas. This surprised me because it was the first non-static spam I got, so I guess this is the new way for spammers to bypass filters. Also, I think we will be seeing more of these from now on. One of the reasons I switched to using Google's Gmail long ago was it's awesome spam filters. Previously, I tried a lot of solutions. The said search engine was a directory that organized other web sites into a hierarchy. Then the history of Yahoo starts. Unlike other search [...] Read More
