Though the spam protectors that are common with most internet email services are fairly effective they also make a lot of common mistakes. Almost all spam detectors mistake some spam for legitimate mail and legitimate mail for spam. though spam detectors are pretty good, so are many of the people sending out spam. As fast as new technology develops, deviants figure out a way around it.
The ironic thing is that we fill our computer with personal information including our SSN and bank account information yet we don't protect our computer properly. The same people who use great security systems like ADT to protect to home do not protect their computer. Computer security however is vital. Without it you are risking a leak of your personal information to thousands.
